OVERNIGHT OATS- HEALTHY BREAKFAST
Sometimes I have the feeling that I have to support my body in its natural cleansing function. Mostly in the springtime, definitely in mine inner spring and autumn.
I then deliberately give him more GREEN in the form of fresh herbs, salads or superfoods such as spirulina and chlorella.
These algae not only help to remove toxins and heavy metals from the body, but also provide valuable chlorophyll for blood formation and a lot of iron.
Because I'm not the real smoothie type except for the (high) summer, because the morning juice is just too cold for me and I can't replace my stomach-flattering porridge, I found another option.
First thing in the morning would be THE perfect time to further support the body in detoxifying.
That's why I just tried a delicious and vegan overnight oats recipe with it. An easy way to conjure up an easily digestible and quick breakfast that doesn't put a strain on your body. After Mr. Bircher at the latest, we know that soaking the oatmeal makes it even more digestible.
I'll tell you my recipe now:
For a serving
- 50g fine oat flakes
- 1 tbsp coconut flakes
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 150ml water 100ml almond milk
- 1 tbsp detox powder
- Organic Lemon Peel
- pinch of salt
- dates for sweetness
- maybe some vegan yogurt
- fresh fruits
Preparation👩🍳
Mix the oats, chia seeds, coconut flakes with the water and almond milk.
Add the dates, lemon zest and salt and leave overnight. I also like to add a dash of kombucha here to make the oatmeal even more digestible.
Mix in the detox powder in the morning. Garnish with some vegan (coconut) yoghurt, fresh fruit and nuts.
We wish you a good start into the day 🤍
